What we collect, and where it goes

Studio Soulutions is a directory app for salon suite buildings, built and run by Hive-Rise. This page covers the two forms on this site and the studio cards they create. It is short because we keep only what the directory needs.

When a studio joins

The join form at /join/ asks for:

• About you: your name, phone, email, and whether it's okay to text you.
• About your studio: business name, building and suite, services, hours, booking link, website, and your Instagram, Facebook or TikTok if you add them.
• Your words and photos: the facts you write for your card, and any photos you upload.

Your card is public on purpose. That is the point of a directory. Your business name, the name of the person behind the chair, suite, services, photos, bio, hours, booking link and socials can show in your building's app, depending on your building's listing level. Your phone and email show on your card only where your listing includes contact buttons. You can change or remove anything on your card yourself, any time, from the studio portal.

The bio writer. If you choose "Write it for me", the facts you typed, your business name, suite, services and hours are sent to an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic) to write your bio. Nothing else about you is sent.

When a building owner gets in touch

The form at /owners/ asks for your name, building, city, roughly how many suites, your email or phone, and anything else you want to tell us. We use it only to come back to you with a plan. None of it is ever shown publicly.

Where it goes

• Stored in our database and photo storage (Supabase).
• Emailed to the people who run the directory, so they can welcome you or reply. A studio also gets a welcome email with its own sign-in code. Email goes out through Resend.
• Hosted on Netlify, which serves the site.

We never sell your information or share it for advertising.

Analytics

The public pages of this site (this one, the homepage, /join/ and /owners/) and each building's directory app use Google Analytics. It counts visits, whether a form went through, and when someone taps a studio's call, text, email or booking button, so a building can see the directory bringing studios business. It records which studio's button was tapped, never the phone number or what you type into a form. Like any analytics it uses cookies and sees your browser and rough location. The studio portal and the admin pages do not use it.

Changing or deleting your information

Studios can edit their own card in the studio portal. To have a card taken down, your details deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email anne@hive-rise.com and we will take care of it.
